touring Goodyear Arizona area - part 1

Next stop after Quartzsite is Goodyear Arizona. We are staying for 3 weeks at Cotton Lane RV Park. Goodyear is a  southwest suburb of Phoenix Arizona. We are about 15 minutes away from University of Phoenix Stadium were the Superbowl will be played this Sunday.

We have no intention of going anywhere near this place and all the crowds on Sunday.

We are here visiting the area our great friends Wayne and Nancy McKinney whom we have know for over 38 years. Here we are at the Estrella Star gazing tower.

Later in the day we went to Old Scottsdale and visited many of the shops. 

Wayne and Nancy found some chairs they had to try out. They did not end up buying them however.

We went back to the Star Tower on another day to watch the sunset.

You can see many cactus nearby the Star Tower.

I had Sue stand next to one so you see how big they are.
