stayed at Eureka for a couple nights.

After the Redwoods we continued to make our way down the coast and arrived at Eureka. We stayed at the Redwood Acres Fair Grounds. The RV area was just passed this entrance and it was a little noisy and kind of like a parking lot. Well, you get what you pay for as it was only $17.50 for each night.

We were not to impressed with the town of Eureka because it was somewhat run down and it was directly on the coast. The weather did not help much either because it was pretty overcast the couple of days we were there and it was very cool, misty and in the low 60's.

I did get to eat an Indian Lunch buffet at Tandoori Bites Indian Cuisine. We then went to a big Natural foods grocery store and then on to Costco to buy some much needed foods we were running low on.

We left Eureka and headed inland towards I5 and Redding, California. The 158 miles took us through some of the most curvy roads yet and it took almost 3 and half hours to make the drive. We saw some more beautiful vistas on our drive.

  2. Yes, I've been craving some Indian food! I love the scenery, too, and have been getting McKenna excited about pretty views as well.
