touring Goodyear Arizona area - part 3

Continuing on our tour of Cave Creek. We walked through a small replica of an old western town.

We saw these scary strange characters in town.
Wayne & Nancy below.
I like how the cactus are right on the side of the road.

Before we left Cave Creek we stopped at Cave Creek Olive Oil Company. They have a large selection of aged flavored olive oil and various flavors of balsamic vinegar. The owner set up a nice sample for us to try. I was surprised at how much olive oil and balsamic vinegar he poured into our sample cups. We tried many flavors with small pieces of bread. Very tasty. I ended up buying a 4 oz. bottle of "Baklouti Green Chili Pepper" fused olive oil for $4.50. I am looking forward to trying it out. They had larger bottles for $17.00 and up. You can go their website for some olive oil and balsamic recipes.

We then headed over to the town of Carefree where we ran across a Luxury home open house. We only had time to tour 2 houses. One was 1.25 million and the other 4.3 million. We all enjoyed the houses and tried to figure if we could pool all our money together to buy one of the houses. Nope, we figured we could not even come up with the down payment. Below is a picture from one of the decks on one of these houses. It was somewhat overcast so it is hard to see some of the neighboring homes in this subdivision.

It was fun to see how some wealthy people live.

We stopped at a very popular Mexican restaurant Elencanto restaurant before heading back to Goodyear.
