This yearly rally/seminar is held in different parts of the country each year. This year of course it was held in Tucson at the Pima County fairgrounds which was very convenient because we were already in Arizona. Below is a sign that greeted us as we arrived.
There were 872 RV's and almost 2000 people in attendance.
Here is the parking lot we were parked at. Our RV is in the bottom left at the end of a row.
Here is an Ariel view of the boondocking area that most of our group stayed at.
Since there was no hookups in this area these people had to run their generators to keep their batteries charged and we did not want to hear or smell them we parked in an area called the solar area where generators were not allowed to be run.
The actual fair grounds were very nice. Here is picture of the central avenue of the fair grounds.
The very first day our Christian group held a church service for anyone that wanted to attend. We were quite surprised at the turn out.
We had daily devotions each morning at 7:00am each day throughout the week. Only problem was that the buildings are not heated and each morning when we entered the building for devotions it was around 50 degrees from cooling off from the night air.
Here is Sue and our friend Keith getting ready to attend morning devotions.
The first afternoon after the grand opening celebration, they passed out free ice cream for the afternoon social and of course everyone wanted that.
They had several seminars each day all on topics that are related to RV'ing. Below is a seminar I attended on some of the latest technologies that RV'ers may choose to use.
Below is a screen capture of one page of the days seminars to give you an example of what is offered.
Each night they started off giving out door prizes and then they would have some type of entertainment in main conference hall.
One of the morning sunrises that greeted us on the way over to morning devotions.
Sue and I manned the Sower ministry information table one of the days of the Escapade. If people had questions about the Sower ministry we could help answer their questions.
Here on the left is Kay Peterson. She and her husband started the Escapees RV club back in the late 70's. Her husband past away in 2010. Their adult children and grandkids now all run the private Escapees RV club.
The sky in Arizona always presents some interesting views. Here is a front coming through over the fair grounds.
Here is one of the beautiful sunsets we witnessed one the the evenings during the rally.
We once again enjoyed the rally but by the end of the week we were pretty tired as they really keep you very busy with all the events and the socials each day.

Beautiful skies! Wow that's a lot of RV's. I'd be afraid I would forget where I parked! It happens to me nearly every time I come out of a store!
