Tucson Tamale and Sabino Canyon Recreation area

After we visited the Pima Air & Space museum with our friends Wayne, Nancy, Cheryl and Dale we headed over to Tuscon Tamale for lunch. We had been advised to try this place because of the outstanding tamale's. By the time we ordered our tamale's for lunch and found a table to sit down, they were bringing our food out to the table. We all agreed that we had never been served food so fast.
The tamales are made from non-GMO corn meal and they had organic salads. The tamale's were the best we ever had. They have 3 locations in Tucson. We would all go back again if in Tucson.

Next after lunch, we all wanted to do some hiking so we headed over to the Sabino Canyon Recreation area.
The views up to the canyon were spectacular.

Once we got there we decided to take a self guided interpretive trial that had many different species of cactus. Our friends Wayne & Nancy on the trail.

One of the tall Saguaro's had a cristate. See the swirly pattern in the left Saguaro?

Below are our friends Cheryl and Dale in front of the Saguaro.

Before we left Tucson, Sunday morning we went to New Life Bible Fellowship Church with Dale & Cheryl. Picture of the worship band below. We enjoyed the music and the message.
