visited Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming

The next stop on our 9+ month RV tour brings us to Yellowstone National Park. There are many geological features to see at this park. I first last visited this park in 1972. It looks very much like it did when I was last here.

We stopped in the General store in the park where we had a refreshing cup of coffee and hot tea.

Several times we saw traffic stop for buffalo that were either on the road or off to the side. I took this picture for the grand kids as I was not too impressed as I saw buffalo pretty regularly while working at Fermilab.

There are many stops that can be made as you travel thru the park. The terrain and the views continually change.

We made a mistake when we stopped for coffee and tea at the General store and accidentally took the road to the east entrance which we had no plans of taking.

It was a 2 hour driving mistake but we ended up not regretting it because we saw some spectacular views that we would have missed on this trip to Yellowstone if we had not made this error.
